Rohingya have still been facing various harrasment in the form of extortion of money and other belongings. On 04 April, 2018, 48 hens were forcibly snatched away from the inhabitants of three villages by Battalion of 564. These were Mee Kyaung Zay, Dar Bin Sara and Khin Tha Ma village tracts of Northern Arakan State.
On the same day, Mee Kyaung Zay village admin and head of BGP camp of Maung Nu extorted 1,00,000 Burma Kiyet and 2 pigeons byforce from Mohammed Sawlim (35), son of Abdu Malack in Khaik Mu Ra village of Mee Kyaung Zay village tracts.
The destitute Rohingya in the village are worried and facing chronic panic disorder about such harrasments.
